Kenya Network

Kenya’s National Marketing Company is called AgriTrade. AgriTrade has five regional managers who cover the areas of Nairobi and Southern Rift; Central Rift; Western Kenya; Eastern Kenya and Mount Kenya region. In each of these regions there is a network of Market Access Companies (MACs) and Information Board Managers (IBMs).

Central Rift Region

Moses Gichuru is the Regional Manager for Central Rift. He has an active group of Information Board Managers in Nakuru, Iten, Gilgil and Marigat. In Nakuru all the main markets have an AgriTrade Information Board. Moses and his team have developed a flour marketing service, which benefits both farmers and clients. The boards are used to advertise both for the sale of flour for the manufacturer and for the raw materials for the factory from the farmers and traders.
